What are the benefits of having a dashcam fitted?

There are quite a few, the primary one being that if you’re unlucky enough to be involved in an accident or incident on the road, your dashcam will provide you with visual evidence to prove who is liable. This is particularly useful in insurance claims and can speed up claim resolution.

Other benefits of dashcams are:

• Protection against fraudulent insurance claims
• Some dashcams continue to record when your car is parked which can be useful evidence if someone hits your car and drives off
• The presence of a dashcam on a vehicle has been shown to increase the awareness and safety of the driver as they tend to adhere more conscientiously to the rules of the road
